It is one of only three places in the world to host a straight mile road race alongside Fifth Avenue, New York, and the Champs-Elysees, Paris! The Butetown Mile has two race categories: Elite race – for runners who want to take on the mile in under 7 minutes. This event is held under Welsh Athletics regulations and entry is for over 18’s only. Fun Run – for everyone else! Take on the mile at your own pace – people of all abilities and families welcome.
