£8-£10
Suitable for novice and experienced runners alike with trails suitable for aged 7 years onwards. The three chipped-timed distances start on the south lawns at the front of the wonderful Felbrigg Hall and progresses up through the woods, past the Ice House and around to the back of the house. The routes are a mixture of undulating and flat, taking in stunning views of the 17th century hall and its grounds which remain little changed since 1807. The 5k and 10K route is a figure of eight trail past the church, down and around the lake then up through woodland, some of which is wet and uneven underfoot, before going back down through the fields across grazing land complete with cattle, finishing off with a 1.4k straight up the west approach to the front of the hall. The 10k runners then start a second lap. The start will be staggered by ability from veterans to joggers, with the course marshalled and clearly signposted. Due to livestock and other variables this is not a canicross event and course route and distance could be subject to change. Get Fit. Stay Fit. Save Lives!
