The course is hilly and soon after the start you get to run up the picturesque Gold Hill, made famous by the Hovis advert.

Starting from the playing fields of Shaftesbury School, the 10k is a single loop route on scenic country lanes. Gold Hill is the most iconic hill on the route but it certainly isn’t the longest. There are 2 children’s races running simultaneously.
