Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl: South Side | 5K

This is based at Grizedale Forest in the South Lakes (near Hawkshead). These route are slightly longer but less mountainous and technical. At Grizedale we offer a 5k or 10k route. The scenery at Grizedale is stunning with beautiful views across Coniston Water. We run from the main cafe area and on wide forest tracks throughout the event. Forest permissions limit us to 75 places at Grizedale Growl so please be quick if this in the event for you. It does still have ascent. Our 10k route has 250m of elevation and our 5k has 180m. Due to wide paths and less technical trails two dogs per runner are allowed at Grizedale. We have graded our 10k route as BLUE. We have graded our 5K route as BLUE.
