Join Poppy Walk Plymouth
This November you are invited to personalise and plant your own poppy tribute in honour of someone you may have loved and lost, and in recognition of what others have given and sacrificed for us all.
Bring friends and family together to celebrate the lives of Service men and women and help raise much-needed funds, as we share a moment of personal reflection on a sociable walk.
Everyone is welcome whether you walk on your own or in a group.
This event has been designed so that everyone can take part, however parts of the route will be on grass and gravel.
The route is dog friendly so feel free to bring them with you. Please make sure they are kept on leads throughout the duration of the event and that you clean up after them.

Central Park is around one mile’s walk from Plymouth Train Station and there are several bus routes available.
You may find it useful to plan your journey in advance by looking at the Plymouth Council website.
There are car parks available at Mayflower Drive B car park or Milehouse Car Park.
Each walker is encouraged to raise as much sponsorship as you can for the Poppy Appeal. If you raise £100 you'll receive a special Legion Legend Medallion.
What your fundraising means to the Armed Forces community:
Could pay the travel costs to get a Veteran to employment related training.
Could provide a winter coat to keep a Veteran warm.
Could pay for one day of a week’s art course with Bravo 22 to aid someone’s recovery and transition to civilian life by improving their confidence and motivation.
Anyone can take part in Poppy Walk, so feel free to bring friends and family of all ages. Anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Our team is called the 'memory walkers' not just because we remembering people who have loved and lost their loved ones in service but for us to make memories for the little ones and for them, when they grow up, to do things with their families and create memories.
Fantastic!
Hi, thank you to all those that serve, we really appreciate it, thank you.
Because they fight for us, at a moment's notice, they could be here, there and everywhere and they do it. And if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be here now.
Just having a chat along the way and seeing the sights... we've had such a lovely Saturday morning walk.
DO IT!
