Tap O Noth Hill Race | Senior Race

However this years race is special, not only is it part of the Scottish Hill Runners 2024 Championship, it is also the Scottish Athletics National Senior Hill Championship for 2024. So we are expecting to see a huge turnout of some of the best hill runners in Scotland! Tap O’Noth is an AS category hill race (7.5km in length with 390m of ascent). Entry will be £5 for Scottish Athletic members (£7 non-members). To qualify in the Scottish Athletics National Championship race you must have a Scottish Athletics membership and use this when entering. Race will be for over 17s only. Prizes will be awarded male and female for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and 1st place in age category (U23, V40, V50 & V60). In addition team award for first 3 members across the line. Scottish Athletics will also be awarding championship medals for these categories. Junior race is 4.8km in length and approx. 200m ascent. This will cover under 17s, however due to distance of the race athletes must be U15 category or above (born 2010-2011). Entry will be £3 for Scottish Athletic members (£5 non-members). Prizes will be awarded for male and female overall winner plus U17 and U15 age categories.
