The Bishop Wilton Beast

Enjoy the Wolds at the best possible time of year with a new traffic free 7 mile cross country trail race. Race entry also gains you free admission to the wonderful Bishop Wilton Show, one entry per runner. The race starts and finishes in the Bishop Wilton Show showground in the lovely Yorkshire Wolds with stunning views over the Vale of York and beyond. The course contains climbs, lovely descents and the “Beast!” a short but steep hill but don’t worry – you get to go down it before you go back up it! A good challenge for the experienced runner, but also a great introduction to running off road for the first timer. Fully marshalled and sign posted traffic free route. No navigation skills are required and there is no cut off time. Last year’s race sold out, and there are no entries on the day, please enter early to avoid disappointment. Sorry no dogs are allowed to race, but very much allowed in the show. Bring friends and family for a great day out, whilst you enjoy a great run out!
