Overview
An awful lot of folk try to enter the London Marathon lottery, and the vast majority don't get lucky in the draw, nor are they happy with the other alternatives, the big fund raising targets for the charity places, can't get in on the Club ballots either and perhaps not quite quick enough for the GFA times. Or maybe just prefer a small, low key run, with chocolate, good company and the main support being from the "Cone of Doom" - who frankly isn't very vocal. Might be a passing seagull who'll screech at you and if you wave to the trucks as you pass over the Rabbit Bridge you might get a honk. But the Reject Run is an alternative to THE marathon... same day, similar time, more goodies, a lot less hassle, better goody bag and more fun bling! The event will be a six hour timed challenge event based out of the Cyclopark Complex at Gravesend (although the routes won't actually be in the Cyclopark area we're just using their facilities and parking) and we intend to use the "177 Route" for this event so 99+% tarmac on a gentle slope (which does add up!) so not flat, but not overly hilly either.
