The Thornthwaite Round is back for it's second year raising funds to help towards the restoration of Thornthwaite Church.

The Thornthwaite Round is 15.6km/870m over forest tracks/paths (flagged), and open fell taking in the checkpoints of Lord’s Seat, Broom Fell, Brown How, Whinlatter and Seat How. The route through the forest is marked and must be followed, bearing in mind that other users could also be on the route. Entry fee includes tea and homemade cake. Limited parking so please car share, cycle or take the X5 bus from Cockermouth or Keswick which stops 200m from the start.
