A popular season-starting duathlon staged in the picturesque setting of the Worcestershire Lenches
Standard: 6km Run - 28km Bike - 3km Run (minimum age 17). Short: 3km Run - 14km Bike - 3km Run (minimum age 15). The bike follows a circuit on quiet rural lanes, suitable for novices but still challenging for experienced racers. It is ridden anti-clockwise, with 1 loop for short distance and 2 loops for standard distance.(Garmin bike course) The run is flat and fast, 3 km out and back on tarmac. The leg before the bike is completed once for short distance and twice for standard distance. After the bike, the run is completed once more for both distances.(Garmin run course) Every participant will receive a gift and finisher’s medal. This year we are supporting St Richard’s Hospice, by donating 10% of all entry fees to the hospice. St Richard’s Hospice cares for patients and families in Worcestershire who are living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Each year they provide free care and support to thousands of patients and their families, helping them towards the best quality of life possible.
