Grasmere 5K & 10K Trail Runs

This fabulous course is loved by runners each year with many describing it as one of the most beautiful 10km trail runs in the UK! Set alongside Grasmere Lake, Grasmere is shrouded by a panorama of fells and mountains. Grasmere is perhaps best known as the home of William Wordsworth, a place he once described as "The most loveliest spot that man hath found." The beautiful 10km Trail run takes in parts of Grasmere Village, Grasmere Water, Rydal Water and passes Rydal caves at its peak.The 5km is perfect for beginners and takes in a wonderful lap of Grasmere Water. This event is Canicross friendly and we allow one controlled dog per runner. There will be Live Chip-Timing through Timing Up North. All Finishers will be rewarded with Wild Deer Merchandise, a Medal, snack and a drink. There is the option to purchase an Event T-Shirt for £12 when you sign up. There is parking on site for all participants however this is weather dependent and if it is too wet some competitors will need to pay for public parking.
