39th Oliver McCullagh Greencastle 5mile Road Race - on the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains County Tyrone
The Annual Greencastle Run is held every year in Greencastle, County Tyrone. Greencastle is located halfway between Omagh & Cookstown. The Greencastle run is a 5mile road run, it takes runners round a unique 5mile road loop starting and finishing on the exact same spot at Greencastle Community Center. The run was orginally started in 1986 by Greencastle AC as road runs were very scarce at the time, the run has raised thousands for local charities since 1986.
