An annual Walking Festival based in the heart of Northumberland. Fresh air, great company and glorious scenery. What better way to put a spring in your step?
There will be 26 walks to choose from including a three-day walk on the Pennine Way National Trail in Northumberland, to celebrate the Pennine Way’s 60th anniversary.
We have new twists on festival favourites including ‘A Walk and A Feast’ from Whitley Chapel WI, Rocks at the Edge of Empire on Hadrian’s Wall, and ‘Classic Crags and a Brewery’ at Twice Brewed.
By popular request we have a new venture this year too - a 22 mile ‘Leg Stretcher’. If this is too far for you, be assured that we also have our usual variety of walks of varying lengths in the programme too. And once again our walk leaders will have lots more ‘Did you knows?’ to share with you!
Walk details are already on the website and bookings open on Saturday 1st March. Some walks, particularly the three-day walk and the special interest walks fill up very quickly!
