Taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend, runners of all abilities can challenge themselves to complete an individual town race or conquer the full marathon distance spread over three days.
Now in its twelfth successive year the ever-popular Mid Sussex Marathon takes place over three days. Passing through all three towns that make up the administrative district of Mid Sussex: East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill – participants will run 10 miles on the Saturday, 10 miles on the Sunday and finish with a 10K on the Bank Holiday Monday. Runners can choose to run all three legs or just one, which makes this event ideal for those new to races.
On each day there's a Fun Run (for all ages) and Mid Sussex Mile (for children who are aged 7 years and over), PLUS runners unable to attend the live event can still take part in the virtual race.
All race finishers will receive a medal, all marathon finishers will receive a medal and technical tshirt.
Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend 2023 is brought to you by Places Leisure in association with AHS Wellbeing and Nice Work. In Partnership with Mid Sussex District Council along with the East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill Town Councils.
