The Rockinghorse Relay

The Rockinghorse Relay is a brand new swimming event taking place at Sea Lanes, Brighton from 7pm to 7am.

• The event is raising money for the brand new Wellbeing Service at the Royal Alex.
• Sign up for a slot, swim for an hour and try to raise £100 in sponsorship. This could fund a 6-week sea swimming course for a teenager with long term health conditions.
• There will be swimmers in the pool for every hour between 7pm on Thursday to 7am on Friday. Don’t worry, you swim for just one hour, not the full 12! And it doesn’t matter what speed or distance you do (taking breaks at the end of the pool is also completely fine).
• Sea Lanes is heated all year round and they aim to keep the temperature at around 19 degrees, and swimmers will get a lovely hot drink to warm them up once they’ve finished.
• Don’t miss this rare opportunity of an overnight swim at the fabulous Sea Lanes, as the pool is usually shut after 9pm!
