Age UK

Since it began, Age UK's Leeds Abbey Dash has raised over Β£4 million to support older people across the UK.

Age UK is there for every older person who needs them. But they've never been needed more, and can’t do it alone. By taking on the Leeds Abbey Dash 10K and fundraising for Age UK, you'll be helping Age UK to provide expert advice, practical support and friendship, as well as campaigning to make older people's voices heard.

Heard so much about the Leeds Abbey Dash that I decided decided to travel from Ireland to experience the race firsthand for myself and wasn't disappointed. A fantastic race with a carnival atmosphere all morning - even the rain didn't dampen people's spirits. The organisers were brilliant with any questions I had prior to traveling. I've no doubt the Leeds Abbey Dash will be a permanent fixture on my race calender over the coming years. Couldn't recommend this race enough - roll on October 2023. Michael H

Oh the Leeds Abbey Dash was thoroughly enjoyed yet again by our team of 40 runners - we'll definitely enter next year! Charis H

Great race, rolling course but very fast. Josh L

It’s a mainly fast and flat route. The support from marshalls, locals and other runners along the route is amazing. The t shirt and medal at the finish is well worth it. Would certainly recommend this event and look forward to doing it again. Mandy M

Great run, great atmosphere, can’t fault! James R

I’ve come to love the Abbey Dash and this was the 3rd time I’ve entered. It allows a fast run for those capable. It’s busy but fun and sociable. Martin B

This was my first race, and I absolutely loved it. It's a great course to ease you into races as it is flat apart from a mini incline at the end. Great support and a great lead-up. Lindsay B

Great race, impeccably organised every year. The course is an out and back with very mild undulations, making it a serious PB contender course if you are at that end of the race, and good way to ease into the running scene if you are new and giving your first race a go. The cost is very competitive and the field being so large every year makes it feel like you are part of something giving the push needed to eek out those last few km’s with everything you’ve got. The only race I try to run every year. Robin B
