Ocean Lake Sunday Sprint Triathlon and Aquathlons

There will be chip timing, the start will be a small mass start and phased delay for novice/apprehensive open water swimmers. This is a beautiful open water race suitable for novices, age group and elite athletes looking for 750m distances to practice, Bike leg is draft illegal18.5km open road - Highway Code rules apply. It is suitable to set first time PB's, training for mass start swims at a larger event or completing a 1st open water swim. The run is either 2x 2.5k laps however if you want to run a shorter distance or a colleague to do the run just tell us or complete AQUATHLON just let the registration and organisers know on the day. We welcome beginners, swim options up to 400m swim 8km cycle and 2.5km or 5 km run and happy to discuss this with you to allow entrants to develop their confidence on a shorter circuit in preparation to enter other events. It is advisable to have had an induction at an open water venue and please ensure you read the section in the race pack about open water swimming.
