Wild Deer Events are teaming up with our friends at Events up North/Timing up North to bring you the North Lakes Half Marathon on the ROADS in the outstanding Lorton Valley in 2025!

This popular, established event has had a breather in 2024 and we aim to bring it back even stronger in 2025. There will be an improved route starting and finishing in Cockermouth Town Centre, taking in this wonderful part of the Lakes. Most of the route is on the quite country lanes through the stunning Lorton Valley with epic views across to the Lakes. There will also be a fantastic Town Centre Finish where spectators can watch you across that finish line. All race finishers will get a Medal, Event Merchandise (buff, socks or coffee tumbler) a snack & a drink. There’s also the option to buy an event t-shirt on entry for just £10.00. This one is not to be missed in 2025!! (This is a running road race and there is a 3 hour cut-off due to the road closures in place for the Event.)
